การแปรด้านศัพท์ภาษาญ้อในผู้พูดสามระดับอายุ จังหวัดนครพนม

Abstract

วิทยานิพนธ์นี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะการแปรรูปศัพท์ภาษาญ้อและลักษณะการแปรการใช้ศัพท์ภาษาญ้อของผู้พูดสามระดับอายุใน 6 อำเภอของจังหวัดนครพนม โดยใช้หน่วยอรรถ 35 หน่วยอรรถเก็บข้อมูลจากการสัมภาษณ์ผู้บอกภาษา 3 ระดับอายุ จำนวนทั้งสิ้น 54 คน ผลการวิจัยพบว่าลักษณะการแปรรูปศัพท์ภาษาญ้อของผู้บอกภาษาทั้งสามระดับอายุจังหวัดนครพนม มี 2 รูปแบบ คือ 1) รูปแบบของการแปรรูปศัพท์ของศัพท์เดียวกัน เช่น 1.1) การแปรเสียงพยัญชนะและสระ 1.2) การกร่อนเสียง เป็นต้น 2) รูปแบบของการแปรรูปศัพท์ที่เป็นคนละศัพท์ เช่น 2.1) การใช้ศัพท์อื่นที่มีอยู่แล้วมาใช้แทน 2.2) การใช้ศัพท์ภาษาไทยถิ่นอื่น เป็นต้น ผู้บอกภาษาญ้อทั้งสามระดับอายุใช้ศัพท์ 3 รูปแบบใหญ่ ได้แก่ 1) ศัพท์ที่ผู้บอกภาษาทั้งสามระดับอายุใช้เหมือนกัน 2) ศัพท์ที่ผู้บอกภาษาสองระดับอายุใช้เหมือนกัน และ 3) ศัพท์ที่ผู้บอกภาษาทั้งสามระดับอายุใช้แตกต่างกัน ผู้บอกภาษาระดับอายุที่ 1 มีความถี่ของการใช้ศัพท์ภาษาญ้อมากที่สุด นอกจากนี้ การใช้ศัพท์ภาษาญ้อทั้งในผู้บอกภาษาระดับอายุที่ 2 และ 3 และ ผู้บอกภาษาระดับอายุที่ 1 และ 3 มีการใช้ศัพท์ภาษาญ้อแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 ส่วนการใช้ศัพท์ภาษาญ้อในผู้บอกภาษาระดับอายุที่ 1 และ 2 ไม่แตกต่างกัน

This thesis aimed to study the characteristics of lexical variation and lexical usage variation of the Nyo language between three generations in six districts of Nakhon Phanom province. The data, 35 semantic units, were collected by interviewing 54 informants. The results showed that the characteristics of lexical variation for the three generations in Nakhon Phanom had two types: 1) the lexical variation of the same lexical items, including consonant and vowel variation, contractions, etc.; 2) the lexical variation of different lexical items, including the usage of other existed words, the usage of other Thai dialects, etc. The lexical variation patterns of the three generations were classified into three main patterns including 1) the lexical items used identically by three generations in each semantic unit, 2) the lexical items used identically by two generations in each semantic unit, and 3) the lexical items used differently by three generations in each semantic unit. The first generation used Nyo lexical items the most. In addition, the lexical usage variation of Nyo lexical items between second and third generation, and between first and third generation were statistically different at a significant level of 0.05. However, the lexical usage between the first generation and the second generation was not different.
