Many species of Leishmania cause many diseases in the tropics and subtropics. There are many ways to detect each of those diseases. We present one of the laboratory confirmation diagnosis L. tropica (that causes cutaneous leishmaniasis) by scraping of the skin ulcer smeared and stained with a modified method of Wright staining (used for ordinary laboratory hematological examination). By this method, L. tropica could be identified easily, and conveniently.en_US
