This study aims on analysis of beatbox techniques applied in the three movements of Three-Beats for Beatbox Flute by Greg Pattillo. Flute beatbox is a performance idea, which turns flute from a single melodic instrument into a rhythmic percussive instrument. Flute beatbox techniques shown through this piece will be discussed based on the musical analysis. Analyzing Pattillo's flute beatbox piece will offer an alternative prospect for flute music composition.
