การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการคัดแยกมูลฝอยติดเชื้อในครัวเรือนของประชาชนในเขตเทศบาลตำบลท่าบุญมี อำเภอเกาะจันทร์ จังหวัดชลบุรี โดยใช้แบบสอบถามชนิดตอบด้วยตนเองเป็นเครื่องมือในการเก็บข้อมูลจากตัวแทนครัวเรือนที่เป็นผู้รับผิดชอบดูแลความสะอาดภายในบ้าน จำนวน 274 คน พร้อมทั้งวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และค่าเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานและหาความสัมพันธ์โดยใช้สถิติไคสแควร์ (Chi-square test) ซึ่งกำหนดนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ 0.05 ผลการศึกษาพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างร้อยละ 47.80 มีคะแนนพฤติกรรมการคัดแยกมูลฝอยติดเชื้อในครัวเรือนอยู่ในระดับดี โดยพฤติกรรมที่ปฏิบัติบ่อยครั้งมากที่สุดคือการจัดเก็บขยะติดเชื้อในภาชนะที่มีฝาปิดมิดชิดและแข็งแรง พฤติกรรมที่ปฏิบัติน้อยที่สุดคือการมัดปากถุงให้แน่นหนาก่อนเคลื่อนย้าย รองลงมาคือการนำขยะติดเชื้อที่รวบรวมไว้ส่งไปกำจัดที่สถานพยาบาล/รพ.สต. ใกล้บ้าน เมื่อทำการวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการคัดแยกมูลฝอยติดเชื้อในครัวเรือนของประชาชนในเขตเทศบาลตำบลท่าบุญมี ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ปัจจัยนำด้านคุณลักษณะบุคคล ได้แก่ อาชีพและรายได้ ปัจจัยนำด้านความรู้ ทัศนคติ การรับรู้ประโยชน์และอุปสรรคในการคัดแยกมูลฝอยติดเชื้อในครัวเรือน ปัจจัยเอื้อด้านการได้รับการส่งเสริมด้านระบบการจัดการมูลฝอยติดเชื้อของเทศบาลตำบลท่าบุญมี ปัจจัยเสริมด้านแรงสนับสนุนทางสังคม มีความสัมพันธ์ต่อพฤติกรรมการคัดแยกมูลฝอยติดเชื้อในครัวเรือนของประชาชนอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p-value < 0.05) การนำผลของสารนิพนธ์ไปใช้: จากผลการศึกษาดังกล่าว สามารถสรุปเป็นข้อเสนอแนะได้ว่า เทศบาลตำบลท่าบุญมี สามารถนำผลการศึกษาครั้งนี้มาใช้จัดทำนโยบาย วางแผนการบริหารจัดการมูลฝอยติดเชื้อในพื้นที่ได้ และควรจะมีการสนับสนุนและประชาสัมพันธ์เกี่ยวกับการจัดการมูลฝอยติดเชื้อในชุมชนโดยเฉพาะด้านความรู้ มาตรการ กฎหมายและกิจกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องอย่างต่อเนื่อง
The objective of this study was to explore the factors affecting infectious waste sorting behaviors among the household community in Tha Bun Mi municipality, Ko Chan district, Chonburi province. A self-administered questionnaire was used as the tool for collecting data from 274 housekeeping representatives. Descriptive statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and the Chi-square test, were used to determine the association between their behaviors and indicate the factors affecting household infectious waste sorting. Results presented that 47.80 percent of the sample were satisfied with infectious waste sorting behaviors. Among these, dropping infectious waste into appropriate containers was conducted the most, in contrast with the least performed behavior, which was tying the bag tightly before taking it out, followed by taking the collected infectious waste to drop off at a hospital in the study area. Moreover, personal factors including career and income; predisposing factors, i.e., knowledge, attitude, perceived benefits, and perceived barriers to action; enabling factors, i.e., infectious waste management of Tha Bun Mi municipality; and reinforcing factors, i.e., social support, were significantly related to infectious waste sorting behaviors among households in Tha Bun Mi municipality, Ko Chan district, Chonburi province (p-value < 0.05). IMPLICATION OF THE THEMATIC PAPER: The Tha Bun Mi municipality administration should continue promoting the management of infectious waste in the community and establishing policies and plans for infectious waste management.
