รายงานวิจัยเรื่องปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการตรวจเต้านมด้วยตนเองของสตรี: ศึกษาเฉพาะกรณีจังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี

Abstract

โรคมะเร็งเต้านมเป็นปัญหาสาธารณสุขที่สำคัญของสตรี การตรวจเต้านมด้วยตนเองอย่างถูกต้องและสม่ำเสมอ สามารถค้นพบความผิดปกติในระยะเริ่มแรกได้ แต่พบว่าสตรีเป็นจำนวนมากยังไม่มีการตรวจเต้านมด้วยตนเอง การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการตรวจเต้านมด้วยตนเอง และปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการตรวจเต้านมด้วยตนเองของสตรี โดยกลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ สตรีที่มีอายุ 20 ปีขึ้นไป ในจังหวัดสุพรรณบุรี จำนวน 455 คน เครื่องมือวิจัยคือ แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล โดยเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ โปรแกรม SPSS For Windows โดยสถิติร้อยละ, ค่าเฉลี่ยมัชฌิมเลขคณิต, ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และวิเคราะห์ความสัมพันธ์ด้วยค่าไคว์-สแควร์ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า สตรีมีการตรวจเต้านมด้วยตนเอง ร้อยละ 38.7 ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการตรวจเต้านมด้วยตนเองของสตรี ได้แก่ อายุ อาชีพ การศึกษา รายได้ ความเชื่อด้านสุขภาพในด้านการรับรู้ ความรุนแรงของโรคมะเร็งเต้านม การับรู้ประโยชน์ของการตรวจเต้านมด้วยตนเอง การรับรู้ปัญหาอุปสรรคในการตรวจเต้านมด้วยตนเอง การรับรู้ข้อมูลข่าวสารเกี่ยวกับโรคมะเร็งเต้านม และการได้รับคำแนะนำจากเจ้าหน้าที่สาธารณสุข โดยมีระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ = 0.05 และสตรีมีความต้องการได้รับคำแนะนำในการตรวจเต้านมด้วยตนเองในระดับปานกลาง ร้อยละ 45.9 ผลการวิจัยมีข้อเสนอแนะด้านนโยบายควรส่งเสริมให้มีการจัดทำโครงการส่งเสริมความรู้แก่สตรีทั้งในสถานศึกษาและในชุมชน จัดโครงการให้บริการตรวจเต้านมด้วยตนเองแก่สตรี และพัฒนารูปแบบการสอนวิธีการตรวจเต้านมด้วยตนเองแก่สตรี เพื่อให้สตรีมีการตรวจเต้านมด้วยตนเองได้อย่างถูกต้อง

Breast cancer is a major public health problem of women. The practice of correct breast self examination allows the detection and early diagnosis of abnormalities, but many women do not perform breast self examination breast self examination. The research aim was to study the practice of breast self examination and factors related to the practice of breast self examination of women in Suphanburi province. Four hundred and fifty-five women, aged 20 or above, were the sample of this study. A questionnaire was used to collect data. Data analysis was by SPSS for Windows. Descriptive statistics were percentage, mean, standard deviation and analysis of correlation by Chi-Square. The results reveal that 38.7% of women performed breast self examination. Factors significantly (p-value < 0.05) related to breast self examination were age, occupation, education, income, health belief; perception of seriousness, perception of benefits and perception of barriers of breast self examination, perception of health information and the advice of health personnel. Of the sample 45.9& of women wanted advise about how to perform breast self examination. It is recommended, as a result of the research that there should be a policy and educational program in institutes and communities, to provide a breast self examination service and a model of teaching for correct breast self examination of women should be impremented.
