ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับความสามารถในการทำงานของชาวนาในจังหวัดนครปฐม

Abstract

ความสามารถในการทำงานเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญในการทำงานให้ประสบความสำเร็จ ประกอบด้วยปัจจัยด้านคนและปัจจัยด้านงาน ชาวนาเป็นเกษตรกรในกลุ่มแรงงานนอกระบบที่ทำงานจนถึงวัยสูงอายุ การส่งเสริมความสามารถในการทำงานแก่ชาวนาให้คงอยู่ตลอดช่วงชีวิตการทำงานจึงเป็นสิ่งจำเป็นเพื่อให้สามารถประกอบอาชีพได้ยาวนาน งานวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับความสามารถในการทำงานของชาวนาในจังหวัดนครปฐม เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาแบบภาคตัดขวาง กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นชาวนาซึ่งสุ่มโดยวิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบหลายขั้นตอน จำนวน 380 คน เก็บข้อมูลตั้งแต่เดือน ตุลาคม - ธันวาคม 2561 รวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถามและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติวิเคราะห์การถดถอยโลจิสติคทวิ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ชาวนาในจังหวัดนครปฐมส่วนใหญ่มีความสามารถในการทำงานอยู่ในระดับดีร้อยละ 61.1 (Mean = 39.91, SD=4.10) และพบว่าชาวนาที่มีการรับรู้ภาวะสุขภาพที่ดี จะมีความสามารถในการทำงานเป็น 8 เท่าเมื่อเทียบกับผู้ที่มีการรับรู้ภาวะสุขภาพไม่ดี (Adjusted OR=7.60, 95% CI=2.44-23.58) และชาวนาที่มี ประสบการณ์การทำงานน้อยกว่า 25 ปี จะมีความสามารถในการทำงานเป็น 6 เท่า เมื่อเทียบกับชาวนาที่มีประสบการณ์การทำงานมากกว่า 25 ปี ขึ้นไป (Adjusted OR=6.18, 95% CI=3.25- 11.74) และทั้ง 2 ปัจจัยนี้สามารถร่วมกันทำนายความสามารถในการทำงานของชาวนาได้ร้อยละ 27.2 ผลการวิจัยมีข้อเสนอแนะว่าพยาบาลอาชีวอนามัยและหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องในการดูแลสุขภาพชาวนาควรมีการประชาสัมพันธ์ ให้ความรู้ และจัดทำโปรแกรมส่งเสริมสุขภาพแก่ชาวนาให้มีสุขภาพดี มีความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน ลดพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงเฝ้าระวังโรคที่เกิดจากการประกอบอาชีพ เพื่อเพิ่มความสามารถในการทำงานของชาวนาให้ดียิ่งขึ้นและยาวนานสืบต่อไป

Work ability is an important factor for accomplishing work tasks and it comprises human factors and work factors. Farmers are in the group of agricultural labor force belonging to informal employment and working until their old age. Therefore, promoting work ability for farmers throughout their work-life is necessary so that they can work as long as they can. This research aims to study factors associated with the work ability of farmers in Nakhonpathom province. The sample included 380 farmers for this descriptive cross-sectional study, selected by multi-stage sampling. Data were collected through self-administered questionnaires from October - December 2018 and were analyzed by binary logistic regresses. The findings from the study showed that most farmers in Nakhonpathom had work ability at a good level by 61.1% (Mean = 39.91, SD=4.10). The influencing factors on good health perception can work 8 times compared to perceived poor health (Adjusted OR = 7.60, 95% CI = 2.44 - 23.58). Farmers with work experience less than 25 years had the ability to work 6 times compared to those with more experience (Adjusted OR = 6.18, 95% CI = 3.25 - 11.74) which can predict together 27.2%. The results indicated that occupational health nurses and other related personnel should publicize, educate, and create health promotion programs for farmers to become healthy. Also, safety at work should be a priority. Reducing risk behavior and surveillance of occupational diseases must be taken into consideration to increase the ability of farmers to work longer and better.
