ประสิทธิผลของการอบรมอาสาสมัครผู้นำกลุ่มเพื่อให้ความรู้แก่ผู้ปกครองเด็กในชุมชนโดยใช้คู่มือการเลี้ยงดูเด็กแรกเกิดถึง 6 ปี ในเขตชุมชนร่มเกล้า

Abstract

ปัญหาทางสุขภาพจิตของเด็กและวัยรุ่นส่วนใหญ่เกิดจากการขาดความรู้เรื่องการเลี้ยงดูเด็กของผู้ปกครอง โดยเฉพาะครอบครัวในชุมชนที่มีเศรษฐานะต่ำ งานวิจัยนี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อทดสอบประสิทธิผลของการจัดอบรมผู้นำกลุ่ม โดยใช้คู่มือการเลี้ยงดูเด็กแรกเกิดถึง 6 ปี สำหรับการอบรมผู้ปกครองเรื่องการเลี้ยงดูเด็ก ผู้วิจัยได้รับอนุญาตให้แปลคู่มือ "From Pram and Primary School" เป็นภาษาไทย และเรียบเรียงให้สอดคล้องกับบริบทของสังคมไทย แล้วจัดอบรมอาสาสมัครผู้นำกลุ่มจำนวน 12 คน จากชุมชนที่มีระดับเศรษฐานะต่ำ เพื่อจัดอบรมผู้ปกครองที่ดูแลเด็กแรกเกิดถึง 6 ปี จำนวน 72 คน โดยแบ่งเป็น 6 กลุ่มย่อย ระยะเวลา 7 สัปดาห์ ผู้วิจัยทำการทดสอบความรู้เรื่องการเลี้ยงดูเด็กก่อนและหลังการอบรม โดยใช้แบบทดสอบความรู้เรื่องการเลี้ยงดูเด็กที่พัฒนาขึ้น พบว่ากลุ่มตัวอย่างมีความรู้เรื่องการเลี้ยงดูเด็กเพิ่มสูงขึ้นหลังเข้ารับการอบรม (15.13±3.67 vs 19.56±2.76, p<.001) และพบว่าปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล ไม่สัมพันธ์กับประสิทธิภาพของการใช้คู่มือนี้ สรุปว่าการใช้คู่มือการเลี้ยงดูเด็กแรกเกิดถึง 6 ปี ฉบับภาษาไทยนี้ โดยให้อาสาสมัครผู้นำกลุ่มดำเนินการฝึกอบรมผู้ปกครอง สามารถ เพิ่มความรู้เรื่องการเลี้ยงดูเด็กให้กับผู้ปกครองได้

Most of the child and adolescent mental health problems resulted from lack of knowledge in parenting, especially in parent with low socio-economic status. This study aimed to develop and test the efficacy of manual for training community leader volunteers to train parents in parenting children aged 0-6 years old. We translated the manual From Pram and Primary School to Thai with the permission of Family Caring Trust and adapted to Thai cultural context. We trained 12 leader volunteers from the community with low socio-economic status to use the manual for training 72 parents (6 groups) in parenting children aged 0-6 years old weekly for 7 sessions. We tested the knowledge of parenting in participants before and after training using the Parenting test that we had developed for this study. Participants had statistically significant increased knowledge in parenting after training (15.13±3.67 vs 19.56±2.76, p<.001). Personal factors are not related with efficacy of the manual. This manual can be used to improve knowledge in parenting, even in low socioeconomic status community.
