Abstract
Debriefing is a crucial aspect of the experiential learning process in simulation.It allows students to review, discuss and critically reflect the activity with the goal of improving clinical reasoning skills which are the basis of nursing competency.Thus, debriefing is an essential component of simulation-based education that fosters clinical reasoning. The objective of this study was to review the structured debriefing in simulation towards an improvement of clinical reasoning skills in nursing students. This study was conducted by using PICO framework to search for articles from 8 electronic databases: Academic Search Complete (EBSCO Host), PubMed, Ovid, ProQuest, Taylor& Francis, Science Direct, the Clinical Teacher, and Springer. The included articles were assessed for the level of reliability and evaluated by using critical appraisal method.There were 8 articles that met the criteria. It was revealed that debriefing in asimulation for improving clinical reasoning skills among nursing students consisted ofdebriefing operator, debriefing timing, structured guidelines, and media type. In conclusion, debriefing in simulation helps students to strengthen their clinical reasoning skills byreflecting on their own experiences. Nursing institutes should design teaching and learning processes based on debriefing in simulation to better foster clinical reasoning skills innursing students.
การซักถามให้เกิดการสะท้อนคิดเป็นส่วนสำคัญของกระบวนการเรียนรู้จากประสบการณ์ในการจำลอง ช่วยให้นักเรียนได้ทบทวน อภิปรายและสะท้อนคิดกิจกรรมโดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการให้เหตุผลทางคลินิกซึ่งเป็นพื้นฐานของสมรรถนะทางการพยาบาล ดังนั้น การซักถามจึงเป็นองค์ประกอบที่สำคัญของการศึกษาโดยใช้การจำลองที่ส่งเสริมการให้เหตุผลทางคลินิก วัตถุประสงค์ของการศึกษานี้คือเพื่อทบทวนรูปแบบการซักถามในการจำลองเพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการให้เหตุผลทางคลินิกของนักศึกษาพยาบาล การศึกษานี้ดำเนินการโดยใช้กรอบ PICO ในการค้นหาบทความจากฐานข้อมูลอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ ได้แก่ Academic Search Complete (EBSCO Host), PubMed, Ovid, ProQuest, Taylor & Francis, Science Direct, The Clinical Teacher และ Springer บทความได้รับการประเมินระดับความน่าเชื่อถือและการประเมินบทความโดยใช้วิธีการวิพากษ์บทความ มี 8 บทความที่เข้าเกณฑ์ซึ่งพบว่า การซักถามให้เกิดการสะท้อนคิดในโปรแกรมสถานการณ์จำลองเพื่อพัฒนาทักษะการให้เหตุผลทางคลินิกของนักศึกษาพยาบาล ประกอบด้วย ผู้ดำเนินการซักถาม ช่วงเวลาในการซักถ
