Abstract
การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษางบประมาณการจัดซื้อหนังสือและอัตราการใช้หนังสือห้องสมุดศูนย์การแพทย์กาญจนาภิเษกจำแนกตามปีงบประมาณ ตามกลุ่มภาษา และตามหมวดหนังสือ 2) เพื่อวิเคราะห์ประสิทธิผลความคุ้มทุนของการใช้หนังสือห้องสมุดศูนย์การแพทย์กาญจนาภิเษกจำแนกตามปีงบประมาณ ตามกลุ่มภาษา และตามหมวดหนังสือ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ ทรัพยากรสารสนเทศประเภทหนังสือที่ห้องสมุดศูนย์การแพทย์กาญจนาภิเษก มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ที่จัดซื้อเข้ามาในปีงบประมาณ 2554 - 2558 และอนุญาตให้ยืมออกได้ จานวน 1,344 เล่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบบันทึกข้อมูลรายการหนังสือที่จัดซื้อในช่วงปีงบประมาณ 2554 - 2558 ใช้โปรแกรม Microsoft Excel เก็บสถิติความถี่ในการยืมหนังสือและข้อมูลงบประมาณการจัดซื้อหนังสือจากฐานข้อมูลห้องสมุดอัตโนมัติ Sierra วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการแจกแจงความถี่ หาค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และการวิเคราะห์ความคุ้มทุนของการใช้หนังสือ ผลการวิจัย พบว่า ในการจัดซื้อหนังสือปี 2554 –2558 ใช้เงินงบประมาณ 411,653.30 บาท โดยเฉลี่ยปีละ 82,330.60 บาท จำนวนหนังสือที่จัดซื้อทั้งหมด 1,344 เล่ม อัตราการใช้เฉลี่ย 715 ครั้งต่อปี การจัดซื้อหนังสือภาษาไทยมากกว่าหนังสือภาษาอังกฤษ หนังสือภาษาอังกฤษใช้งบประมาณจัดซื้อหนังสือมาก แต่อัตราการใช้ต่ำ หนังสือหมวดสังคมศาสตร์ มนุษยศาสตร์และ วิทยาศาสตร์พื้นฐานมีการจัดซื้อมากที่สุด แต่หนังสือหมวดนวนิยาย / เรื่องสั้น มีอัตราการใช้สูง และประสิทธิผลความคุ้มทุนของการใช้หนังสือ ปี 2554 –2558 มีจุดคุ้มทุนอยู่ที่ 9,801 ครั้ง แต่ใช้จริง 9,839 ครั้ง กล่าวได้ว่าความคุ้มทุนในการใช้หนังสือของห้องสมุดศูนย์การแพทย์กาญจนาภิเษก มีความคุ้มทุนเกินกว่าจุดคุ้มทุน 38 ครั้ง
The objectives of this study: 1) to study the budget and utilization of the books at Golden Jubilee Medical Center Library, Mahidol University which sorted by languages and categories 2) to analyze the cost-effectiveness of the use of books. We recruited data from 2011-2015, this library allowed 1,344 books for borrow. We used Microsoft Excel recorded the frequency of borrowing and the budget for purchasing books, and analyzed the data from the library database automatically Sierra. The frequency, percentage, and an analysis of the cost of the book were identified. This research found that the budget of the books was totally 411,653.30 baht (average of 82,330.60 baht/year) and the number of books purchased was 1,344 copies. The utilization rates was 715 times a year. The majority of purchasing books was Thai language. We also found that English books were the higher budget but low utilization rate. Social Science, Humanities and Basic Sciences were the most cost. But novels / short stories were a high utilization rate. The cost-effectiveness of using books was 9,801 times, but we uses the book 9,839 times at Golden Jubilee Medical Center Library. Then we used 38 times more than the breakeven point
