dc.description.abstract | This cross sectional survey study is aimed to identify mental health of caregivers of children with delayed development and its related factors. The samples were 236 caregivers who took delayed children to undergo child development stimulation at Siriraj Hospital. The research instruments were questionnaires and the data analysis was carried out by descriptive statistics and analytical statistics, Chi-Square test, t-test, and Multiple Logistic Regression Analysis. Most caregivers of delayed development children were parents (87.3%) of whom 23% possessed the tendency to have mental health disorder 80.93% of caregivers reported a mild level of impacts from caregiving 60.59% had a good family relationship and 47.03% reported a moderate level of social support. The impacts from caregiving, family relationship and social support were significantly related to mental health problems of child caregivers (pvalue<0.001). The variables related to the caregivers' mental health problems were impacted from caregiving and social support. The probability of mental problems occurrence increased 1.10 times per level of child caregiving while the probability of occurrence decreased 0.86 times for each increased level of social support score. Assessment of mental health of caregivers with delayed development children should be carried out persistently, family participation by all family members should be promoted, and more social support for child caregivers should be provided in order to prevent mental health problems in caregivers. Additionally, individual or group counseling and Self-Help groups should be organized to facilitate caregivers who tend to have mental health disorders.;"การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจยเชิงสํารวจภาคตัดขวางเพื่อศึกษาสุขภาพจิต และปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์ ต่อสุขภาพจิตของผู้ดูแลเด็กพฒนาการล่าช้า กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือ ผู้ดูแลเด็กที่พาเด็กพัฒนาการล่าช้ามารับการ กระตุ้นพัฒนาการที่โรงพยาบาลศิริราช จํานวน 236 ราย เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูล โดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรร" | |
