การพัฒนาบทเรียนคอมพิวเตอร์ช่วยสอนสำหรับคนตาบอด เรื่องการใช้งานโปรแกรมอ่านจอภาพบนระบบปฏิบัติการวินโดวส์

Abstract

การวิจัยในครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงทดลอง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) พัฒนาบทเรียนคอมพิวเตอร์ ช่วยสอนสำหรับคนตาบอด เรื่อง การใช้งานโปรแกรมอ่านจอภาพบนระบบปฏิบัติการวินโดวส์ ซึ่ง ออกแบบเป็นภาษาไทยสำหรับคนตาบอด 2) ทดสอบประสิทธิภาพของบทเรียนคอมพิวเตอร์ช่วยสอน สำหรับคนตาบอด 3) ศึกษาปัญหาการใช้งานบทเรียนคอมพิวเตอร์ช่วยสอนสำหรับคนตาบอด โดย กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นนักเรียนโรงเรียนสอนคนตาบอดกรุงเทพ ชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 จำนวน 10 คน เก็บ ข้อมูลโดยให้นักเรียนเรียนด้วยบทเรียนคอมพิวเตอร์ช่วยสอนเป็นเวลา 4 สัปดาห์ ระหว่างเดือน ธันวาคม 2548-มกราคม 2549 และสังเกตพฤติกรรมของนักเรียนระหว่างการเรียน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดย ใช้ สถิติพรรณนาแบบค่าเฉลี่ยร้อยละและสถิติ T-test ทดสอบค่าความแตกต่างก่อนและหลังเรียน ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักเรียนที่วัดก่อนและหลังเรียนแตกต่างกัน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ.05 โดยมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยก่อนเรียน 4.70 คะแนน และคะแนนเฉลี่ยหลัง เรียน 9.10 คะแนน สรุปได้ว่าบทเรียนที่พัฒนาขึ้นมีประสิทธิภาพ และนักเรียนเห็นว่าองค์ประกอบ ต่างๆ ของบทเรียนที่สร้างขึ้นมีความเหมาะสมระดับดีถึงดีมาก เป็นสิ่งที่ช่วยเรียนรู้ได้เร็ว และเข้าใจ ง่ายกว่าเรียนในห้องเรียน นักเรียนแสดงพฤติกรรมความคับข้องใจและแสดงอาการติดขัดขณะเรียน ในช่วงต้นของการทดลอง แต่ลดลงจนไม่แสดงพฤติกรรมหรืออาการติดขัดในการใช้งานบทเรียนใน ตอนท้ายของการทดลอง นักเรียนให้ความสนใจ และกระตือรือร้นในการเรียนตลอดช่วงการเรียน การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีข้อเสนอแนะว่า บทเรียนคอมพิวเตอร์ช่วยสอนควรพัฒนาเป็นรูปแบบเกม เพื่อให้เกิดความเร้าใจในการเรียน พัฒนาบทเรียนในเนื้อหาที่น่าสนใจอื่นๆ สำหรับคนตาบอด ทดลองในกลุ่มที่ใหญ่ขึ้น ทดลองกับกลุ่มต่างๆ ทดลองเปรียบเทียบกับกลุ่มที่เรียนโดยใช้วิธีทั่วไป และเพิ่มระยะเวลาทดลองให้นานขึ้น

This research is an experimental study. The objectives of the research were 1) to develop the Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI) Lesson in Thai language, for the Blind on the use of Screen Reader Software under Windows Operating System. 2) To measure the effect of CAI by experimenting with the use of CAI with blind students. 3) To study problems of using CAI with blind students. The CAI was developed with text and audio content and specially designed for the blind. The subjects consisted of 10 blind students in grade 5 at the Bangkok School for the Blind. The data was collected from the subjects using CAI from December 2005 to January 2006. Twenty questions pre-test and post-test were given to the subjects to measure the effect of CAI. The analysis was based on descriptive statistics, and t-test was applied to analyze the difference between pre-test and post-test scores. The result showed that pre-test and post-test scores were significantly different at .05. Mean pre-test score was 4.70 points and mean post-test score was 9.10 points. However, the post-test score was not high because learning skills of the subjects and time spent on studying was short. The subjects claimed that this CAI was very well structured and it was easier to learn with CAI than learning in a regular classroom. Although the students showed a high level of confusion using CAI the first time, they had less confusion at the end. The students were interested in using CAI and showed high motivation to learn from CAI that is specially designed for the blind. Recommendations from the study were 1) CAI should be developed as games; 2) more CAI in other subject areas should be developed for the blind; 3) experiments on using CAI with larger groups should be conducted; 4) there should be comparative study with regular learning in the classroom and; 5) Time spent on using CAI for the research should be longer
