The integration of service robots in healthcare demands standardized and safe solutions. While autonomous systems enhance efficiency, they also pose risks, requiring strict adherence to safety standards. To address this, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) provides guidelines to aid robot developers in ensuring both safety and commercialization. This study presents the design and implementation of a mobile delivery service robot for healthcare, developed in compliance with ISO 13482 to minimize risks. The robot was tested in an indoor hospital-like setting based on universal design principles. Experimental results confirmed its ability to navigate efficiently, maintain operational safety, and optimize medical supply distribution. These findings underscore the significance of ISO-compliant design in healthcare robotics, ensuring functional reliability and regulatory adherence.
