Abstract
This feasibility study for weapons inventory management was carried out by using (RFID) to identify officers' personal IDS, record weapons and significant items as the criteria for making the most suitable decision and serving the needs of users. It was done by making a comparison between old and new systems and the construction of Application Software developed as a pilot system by using a computerized software System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing system with Computer Tools for Coloured Petri Nets: CPN Tools. Also, a simulation was constructed to test the efficiency and speed, which included queue and delay times for providing services. Research findings may provoke attention from government agencies (military, police force and official administration) to review the application of RFID with weapons management instead of manually recording into record books or forms. Results from data analysis revealed that the application of RFID with weapons management can increase the effectiveness and efficiency of prevention and safety systems.
