พฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคติดเชื้อเฉียบพลันของระบบหายใจส่วนต้น ในเด็กปฐมวัย ของผู้ดูแลชาวมอแกลน อำเภอตะกั่วป่า จังหวัดพังงา

Abstract

พฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคติดเชื้อเฉียบพลันของระบบหายใจส่วนต้นในเด็ก เป็นการปฏิบัติของผู้ดูแล ประกอบด้วย การดูแลเด็ก ด้านโภชนาการ การดูแลสิ่งแวดล้อมภายนอกบ้าน และภายในบ้าน การรักษาความอบอุ่นร่างกายเด็ก การดูแลให้ออกกาลังกายและพักผ่อน และการหลีกเลี่ยงการติดเชื้อโรค การวิจัยเป็นแบบภาคตัดขวางนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์ เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคติดเชื้อเฉียบพลันของระบบหายใจส่วนต้นในเด็กปฐมวัย ของผู้ดูแลชาวมอแกลน อำเภอตะกั่วป่า จังหวัดพังงา และปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้อง ตัวอย่างผู้ดูแลหลักที่ดูแลเด็กปฐมวัยชาวมอแกลน ช่วงอายุ 1 - 5 ปี อย่างต่อเนื่อง เช่น พ่อ แม่ ปู่ ย่า ตา ยาย และบุคคลอื่น ๆ รวมทั้งสิ้น 105 คน เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยการสัมภาษณ์ จากแบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา และสถิติไคสแควร์ กาหนดระดับนัยสำคัญทางสถิติน้อยกว่า 0.05 ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ผู้ดูแลเด็กปฐมวัยชาวมอแกลน ร้อยละ 81.00 มีพฤติกรรมการปฏิบัติตนที่ป้องกันโรคติดเชื้อเฉียบพลันของระบบหายใจส่วนต้น ในระดับที่เหมาะสม โดยปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับพฤติกรรมการป้องกันโรคติดเชื้อเฉียบพลันของระบบหายใจส่วนต้นในเด็กปฐมวัย ได้แก่ ความรู้เกี่ยวกับโรคติดเชื้อเฉียบพลันของระบบหายใจส่วนต้น และการสนับสนุนทางสังคม ด้านอารมณ์ (p-value < 0.05) จากผลการศึกษาจึงมีข้อเสนอแนะว่า เพื่อลดโอกาสการเจ็บป่วยด้วยโรคติดเชื้อทางเดินหายใจส่วนต้น ของผู้ดูแลเด็กชาวมอแกลน ควรได้รับความรู้ โดยเฉพาะการไม่ซื้อยากินเอง การแยกเด็กป่วย การล้างมือให้เด็ก และทาความสะอาดของเล่น ปัจจัยด้านการสนับสนุนทางสังคม เป็นปัจจัยที่ช่วยลดการเจ็บป่วยของเด็กได้เช่นกัน

Prevention behavior of the acute upper respiratory infections (ARIs) in children which is performed by the caregivers comprises of nutritional care, internal and external environmental control, keeping children warm, having physical exercise, good sleep quality, and avoidance of infections. This cross-sectional study aims to explore the prevention behavior of the acute upper respiratory infections among the early childhood of the Moklen caregivers in Takua Pa District, Phang Nga Province, and their associated factors. The samples were selected from the main caregivers of Moklen children aged 0-5 years, such as parents, grandparents, and others. 105 caregivers were included in the study. Data were collected by interviewing through questionnaires. Then, the analysis was conducted by using the descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The statistical significance was < 0.05. The results showed that 81.00% of Moklen caregivers had a proper level of ARI prevention behavior. The factors associated with such behavior were knowledge about acute upper respiratory infections, and emotional support (p-value <0.05). Based on the results of the study, to prevent the early childhood from ARI, the Moklen caregivers should gain the ARI prevention knowledge, especially avoiding self-medication, separating ill children, washing children's hands, and cleaning toys. In addition, emotional support was also a factor contributing to minimize illness of children.
