This study focuses on tunnel pasteurization, involving the bottling of alcoholic carbonated beverage before subjecting it to pasteurization in a tunnel pasteurizer. During the pasteurization process, there is a risk of glass bottle failure due to thermal and internal pressure changes. To evaluate the behavior of the load and strength of the glass bottle during the pasteurization process, the Finite Element Method (FEM) is employed. The FEM is used to analyze the strength of the container by examining the relationship between temperature and pressure changes in the bottles. The outcomes of this investigation have notable ramifications for optimizing the beverage-filling procedure, leading to decreased bottle losses and enhanced production efficiency. This research significantly advances our comprehension of container behavior under thermal and pressure fluctuations, offering valuable insights for the design and optimization of containers used in pasteurization.
