Abstract

The authors regret to inform readers of an error identified during a recent review of our manuscript in Section 3.1 of the results. The error pertains to the number of petrochemical industrial complexes (PICs), which occurred due to an oversight during the manuscript revision process. After thoroughly rechecking the data, we submit the following corrected information: ● The number of PICs in the high-income region should be 324, not 314.● The number of PICs in the North Africa and Middle East region should be 89, not 86.● The number of PICs in Iraq should be 13, not 14.The amended texts in the manuscript are as follows:
