Resource allocations by farm sizes in Nakhon Ratchasima province

Abstract

The objective of this thesis is to find the optimal agricultural planning for production which corresponds to the existing resources and farm sizes. Alternative policies, such as the price policy and the reduced interest rate policy are studied using linear programming models. The income per farm obtained under the baseline solution is then compared with those under the alternative policies. It i found that the income per farm under the alternative policies is larger than under the baseline solution.
