ประสิทธิภาพของการฝังเข็มลดน้ำหนักของผู้ป่วยโรคอ้วนในศูนย์การแพทย์กาญจนาภิเษก

Abstract

งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตฤประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาประสิทธิผลของการฝังเข็มลดน้ำหนักในผู้ป่วยโรค อ้วนโดย 1) เปรียบเทียบดัชนีมวลกายและความยาวรอบเอวก่อนและหลังการฝังเข็ม 2) หาความ แตกต่างของดัชนีมวลกาย และความยาวรอบเอวก่อนและหลังการฝังเข็ม และ 3) วิเคราะห์แนวโน้มน้ำหนักตัวหลังการฝังเข็ม โดยมีกลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ป่วยโรคอ้วนที่เข้ารับการรักษาที่ศูนย์การแพทย์กาญจนาภิเษก มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล และมีคำาดัชนีมวลกาย (BMI) มากกว่า หรือเท่ากับ 30 อายุระหว่าง 18-65 ปี และไม่อยู่ในระหว่างการลดน้ำหนักด้วยวิธีอื่นกายใน 1 เดือนที่ผ่านมา เลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบตามสะดวกจำนวน 30 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย แบบสอบถาม แบบบันทึกข้อมูล เข็มแสตนเลสที่ใช้สำหรับผังเข็มรักษาโรค สำลี แอลกอฮอล์ นาฬิกาจับเวลา การเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลประกอบด้วยการให้กลุ่มตัวอย่างตอบแบบสอบถาม และ ผู้วิจัยบันทึกน้ำหนักตัวและความยาวรอบเอวของกลุ่มตัวอย่างก่อนการฝังเข็มในแต่ละครั้ง แล้ว จึงทำการฝังเข็มบริเวณ หน้าท้อง ศีรษะ แขน และขา เป็นเวลา 30 นาที/ ครั้ง สัปดาห์ละ 2-3 ครั้ง ต่อเนื่องรวม 15 ครั้ง การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้การหาค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ร้อยละ ค่า ต่ำสุด-สูงสุด และทดสอบค่า Paired t-test) ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ดัชนีมวลกายของกลุ่ม ตัวอย่างหลังการฝั่งเข็มมีแนวโน้มลดลง โดยเฉลี่ยลดลง 0.51 กิโลกรัม/เมตร์ ความยาวรอบเอว มีแนวโน้มลดลง โดยเฉลี่ยลดลง 1.06 นิ้ว 2 ดัชนีมวลกายก่อนและหลังการฝังเข็มมีความ แตกต่างกันที่ระดับนัยสำคัญ 05 ความยาวรอบเอวก่อนและหลังการฝังเข็มมีความแตกต่างกันที่ ระดับนัยสำคัญ .05 และ 3) น้ำหนักตัวหลังการฝังเข็มมีแนวโน้มลดลง

The aim of this review was to observe the effectiveness of the acupuncture in the obese patients of The Golden Jubilee Medical Center. By 1) Comparing the BMI and waist circumstance before and after acupuncture. 0) Observing the difference of BMI and waist circumstance before and after acupuncture and 3) The tendency of total body weight loss after acupuncture. Paticipants were the obese patients of Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic in Golden Jubilee Medical Center who had BMI of 10 or more. Age between 16-43 years old and noone had attended any weight control program or method within 1 month. The paticipants were Convenience Sampling for 10 persons. The survey tools included questionnaire, record form, acupuncture needle, cotton ball, 50% ethyl alcohol, and stopwatch. The participants weight were duly noted before treatment. The needles were placed in the head, the abdomen and bilateral limps for 30 minutes/ time, 2-3 times a week continuously for 15 times. Data analysis use mean, standard deviation, percentile, min-max value, and t-test. The conclusion were found that 1) The BMI tendency of the participants after treatment had reduced at the average weight loss 0.51 kg/m2 The waist circumstance tended to decrease at the average of 1.06 inch. 2) The BMI before and after treatment has associated with weight reduction with significant at the .05 confidential level. 3) The tendency of total body weight after treatment also reduced.
