RETRACTED: Neuroinflammatory Markers: Key Indicators in the Pathology of Neurodegenerative Diseases (Molecules, (2022), 27, 10, (3194), 10.3390/molecules27103194)

Abstract

The journal retracts the review article titled “Neuroinflammatory Markers: Key Indicators in the Pathology of Neurodegenerative Diseases” [1], cited above. Following publication, concerns were brought to the attention of the publisher regarding an overlap between this publication and previously published review articles, produced by different authorship groups. In accordance with the journal’s standard procedures, an investigation was conducted by the Editorial Office, significant overlap was identified between this publication [1] and two previously published review articles [2,3], without appropriate acknowledgement or citation. Consequently, the Editorial Board has decided to retract this publication, as per MDPI’s retraction policy. This retraction was approved by the Editor-in-Chief of the journal Molecules. The authors have been informed of this retraction and have indicated their disagreement with this decision.
