เปรียบเทียบพฤติกรรมสุขภาพและการดูแลสุขภาพของตนเองระหว่าง นักศึกษาที่มีความบกพร่องทางการได้ยินกับนักศึกษาที่ไม่มีความบกพร่องทางการได้ยิน ของวิทยาลัยราชสุดา มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล

Abstract

นักศึกษาที่สมัครใจเข้าร่วมวิจัย ประกอบด้วยนักศึกษาที่มีความ บกพร่องทางการได้ยิน 51 คน และนักศึกษาที่ไม่มีความบกพร่องทางการได้ยิน 20 คน เมื่อ เปรียบเทียบพฤติกรรมสุขภาพของนักศึกษาทั้งสองกลุ่ม พบว่าพฤติกรรมสุขภาพที่มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ( P < 0.05 คือพฤติกรรมบริโภคอาหาร และ พฤติกรรมทางเพศและการป้องกันโรคติดต่อทางเพศสัมพันธ์ โดยทุกพฤติกรรมที่มีความแตกต่างพบพฤติกรรมด้านลบในกลุ่มนักศึกษาที่มีความบกพร่องทางการได้ยินมากกว่า ส่วนพฤติกรรมที่ไม่มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติได้แก่ พฤติกรรมการออกกำลังกาย พฤติกรรมด้านอารมณ์และการผ่อนคลายความเครียด พฤติกรรมอนามัยส่วนบุคคล พฤติกรรมการรับรู้ข่าวสารด้านสุขภาพ พฤติกรรมการสูบบุหรี่และดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอร์ เมื่อเปรียบเทียบการดูแลสุขภาพตนเอง ของทั้งสองกลุ่มพบว่าไม่มีความแตกต่างอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ

Objectives: Compare health behavior and personal health care between hearing impaired students and non-hearing impaired students of Ratchasuda College Mahidol University. Methodology: A descriptive study, receiving data from every student of Ratchasuda College Mahidol University in 2016, using the questionnaire asking their health behavior and personal health, developed from the interview about health behavior surveillance (revised on December 2014). The questionnaire was passed the validity and the reliability test. For data collection with the group of hearing impaired students, there would be the interpreter who has experiences in sign language to help them answer the questions. Data analysis consisted of percentage, mean, standard deviation including t-test, Mann-Whitney U test, and Fisher‟s exact Test. Result: Students were willing to participate in the research. There are 51 hearing impaired students and 20 non-hearing impaired students. Comparing their. health behaviors, it was found the differences with statistical significance (p < 0.05) include food consumption behavior, and sexual and sexually transmitted disease protection behavior. All the different behaviors, the hearing impaired students have the negative behaviors more. At the same time, the behaviors without adifference with statistical significance include exercising behavior, emotion and stress relief behavior , personal sanitation behavior, information and health information receiving behavior, smoking behavior, and alcohol behavior. Comparing personal health care of the two groups, none shows the difference with statistical significance. Conclusion: Although health behaviors in both groups of students were different and without adifference with statistical significance. The personal health care of the two groups, none shows the difference with statistical significance. However, it was found that the health behavior and personal health care of the students in both groups were not appropriate. Health promotion should be more provided for health behavior education and personal health care in group of hearing impaired students and group of non-hearing impaired students.
