Data were collected before and after the experiment. Descriptive statistics-percentage, mean and standard deviation and pair t-test used for comparison of average scores were used for data analysis. Level of significance was set at 0.05. Result of this study suggested that the Holistic Exercise Promotion Program had significantly increased levels of knowledge on exercise (p-value <0.001), perceived self-efficacy (p-value <0.001), exercise outcome expectation (p-value <0.001) and exercise behavior(p-value <0.001) among the participants in this program. Consequently, there systolic blood pressure, but not diastolic blood pressure and body mass index significantly were reduced (p-value = 0.018). It was therefore, recommended that the Holistic exercise promotion program could be applied to promote exercise behavior among the elderly to enhance their health and thus, relieving the burden of their care takers. In addition, regular exercise will improve their social and thinking skills, therefore, they can live a happy and productive life.;"การศึกษาครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยกึ่งทดลอง วัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาประสิทธิผลของโปรแกรมส่งเสริม การออกกำ ลังกายแบบองค์รวม โดยการประยุกต์ทฤษฎีความสามารถตนเองมาเป็นแนวคิดหลักร่วมกับนำ แนวคิดสุขภาพแบบองค์รวม มาจัดกิจกรรมเพื่อส่งเสริมการออกกำลังกาย ในกลุ่มผู้สูงอายุ เขตเทศบาล ตำบลธรรมศาลา จังหวัดนครปฐม กลุ่มตัว" | |
