This musical hermeneutic research discusses the aspects and aesthetics of the 20th-century visual art and compares to musical cinematography of Triptyque Contemporain by Roman Ryterband. The analysis translates the identification of 20th-century visual art in triptych form to the musical narration to recognize the structure and significance of the piece. The triptych common essence was found among instrumental canvas, relative manner of tonality and structural balance like a traditional church triptych. Varieties are not absent and fulfilled by an individual character of each movements. The composer's musical ideas representing the 20th-century visual art aspects are comparable to great pieces of work by 20th-century artists.
