The Sr<inf>2</inf>TiO<inf>4</inf>–TiO<inf>2</inf> heterojunctions were synthesized using a reflux method with various concentrations of NaOH. The synthesized heterojunctions were characterized for their morphological and structural properties using SEM, TEM, XRD, and XPS. The optical properties were analyzed using UV-vis DRS. The fabricated heterojunction photoanodes were incorporated into dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) devices, and their photovoltaic performance was evaluated under simulated sunlight. Our results indicate that the Sr<inf>2</inf>TiO<inf>4</inf>–TiO<inf>2</inf> heterojunction photoanode fabricated at a pH of 7 and subjected to reflux synthesis at 90°C exhibited the highest energy conversion efficiency among the tested samples.
