Abstract
Thoracic spinal stenosis, caused by various pathological conditions such as ossification of the ligamentum flavum (OLF), ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament (OPLL), and degenerative changes, can lead to thoracic myelopathy. Once myelopathic symptoms develop, surgical decompression is the definitive treatment to relieve spinal cord compression and improve functional outcomes.
