    The solo composition of Sor Sarm Saii on the serried of Lom Phad Chaii Khao

Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center, 2005) Kris Puttagool; Udom Aroonratana The purpose of this thesis work in solo composition for sor sarm saii in one of the series of Lom Phad Chaiikhao is to present work in the form of a recital in front of the public in order to reveal the skill and knowledge from the study in the programe of Master of Arts in Practical Music. In addition recital is the media for expressing the fruitfulness of the study. Techniques used in this composition came from all exercises from the study and were applied in harmony in this composition. The difficulty is only in organizing the melodic motion to be set in harmony with the objective of applying earned experience. One who can invent in solo composition has to have both skills and experience. This solo composition in the series of Lom Phad Chaiikhao emerged from the experience of 7 years of study (1998-2004) before the presentation recital. Although a satisfactory level of performance was fulfilled the aesthetic of beautiful creativity was not. More experience and hard regular practice could enable invention of a more wonderful and marvelous level of performance to persuade the audience to absorb all details of the melodic presentation.
