The red and blue rooms affect to brain activity, cardiovascular activity, emotion and saliva hormone in women
(2015-01-01) Watchara Sroykham; Tassanee Promraksa; Jatuporn Wongsathikun; Yodchanan Wongsawat; Mahidol University
, emotion and saliva hormone. Each participant was testing in red and blue room. Participant was measure the EEG, ECG, SpO2, pulse rate, saliva hormone (melatonin, cortisol, testosterone, progesterone, estradiol and DHEAS), and emotion. The results showed... that red room regulates the tension, anger, vigor and confusion moods which stimulate significant increasing of the pulse rate and SpO2 and cortisol levels but blue room regulates the depression and fatigue. The brain activity of high beta wave (25-30 Hz

Business Process Re-engineering for Medical Supply Management: A Case Study of Operating Room
    (2025-01-01) Nantaritthanon P.; Liangrokapart J.; Nantaritthanon P.; Mahidol University
Supply chain in Operating Room (OR) is different from other healthcare unit supply chain as it is specific, precise, and necessary to each surgical procedure and operations. With advancement in surgical technology, the increasing number of surgical... cases, the variety of medical supplies utilized, and the time constraint have impacted the staff working hours and waiting time for the next patients. Enhancing efficiency of medical supplies management in the operating room can reduce delay time

(at frontal lobes and temporal lobes) in red and yellow colored rooms were higher than blue, green, white and black colored rooms, respectively. It also had the relationship with the psychological effect (BRUMS). The amplitude asymmetry of beta wave (12-25 Hz...) was highly attenuated in warm color (red and yellow colored rooms), moderately attenuated in cool color (green and blue colored room) and little attenuated in white and black colored rooms. The BRUMS showed that red and yellow yielded significant effect

Path loss characteristics in a civil laboratory building at a frequency of 2.4 GHz
(2013-10-04) Supachai Phaiboon; Adchara Kampan; Mahidol University
This paper presents indoor radio wave propagation characteristics of a large laboratory at a frequency of 2.4 GHz. We performed path loss measurements in two categories namely LOS, NLOS same room and LOS, NLOS different rooms. These categories... is still less than 2 for only LOS and about 2.24 for LOS and NLOS in the same room. Additionally, the WAFs for the metal grid wall and the solid wall are 5.5 dB and 21.53 dB respectively.

© 2018 IEEE. An autonomous robot rover has been designed and developed. The proposed robot rover is capable of self-localization and self-exploration of a room or an area inside a building. Self-driving and self-navigating in unknown environments..., our robot constantly scans its surrounding, incrementally and dynamically constructing a global map of the visited room. Immediately after it detects an obstacle or an obstruction, the robot car does not only stop or diverge its route in order to avoid

was heated in a temperature controlled heating sample stage from room temperature to 300°C and slowly cooled down to room temperature while the dynamic SE data were measured. It was found that the δ and ψ spectra began to change quickly at 200°C until... the temperature reached 250°C, then continue to changed very slowly until 300°C. No significant change could be observed while the sample was cooling down to room temperature. The full spectral SE measurements were also taken at every 50°C steps and used to model
