dc.description.abstract | This study describes a simple technique for releasing miracidia from Opisthorchis-like eggs before DNA extraction by keeping PBS washed specimens at 4°C for two days. Using PCR amplification, the sensitivity of the PBS incubation technique was as good as that obtained from freeze-thaw technique. Moreover, this low-cost technique is less laborious. © 2009 Elsevier Inc. | en_US |
