ผลของโปรแกรมพัฒนาการสอนเพศศึกษาของบิดาต่อการสื่อสารเรื่องเพศกับบุตรชาย อายุ 10-12 ปี ในเขตปริมณฑล

Abstract

การศึกษาแบบกึ่งทดลอง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมพัฒนาการสอนเพศศึกษาของบิดาต่อการสื่อสารเรื่องเพศกับบุตรชายอายุ 10-12 ปีในเขตปริมณฑล กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นบิดาที่มีบุตรชายอายุ 10-12 ปี จำนวน 40 คน แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มทดลอง 15 คน จากจังหวัดสมุทรปราการได้รับโปรแกรมการรียนรู้แบบมีส่วนร่วม ผ่านกระบวนการกลุ่มบทบาทสมมติ การระดมสมอง การอภิปราย และสรุปบทเรียน จำนวน 4 ครั้ง กลุ่มเปรียบเทียบ 25 คน จากจังหวัดนนทบุรีและสมุทรสาคร เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยแบบสอบถามชนิดตอบด้วยตนเอง ก่อนและหลังทดลอง 1 สัปดาห์ ดำเนินการในช่วง ก.พ.-เม.ย. พ.ศ. 2556 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดคค่าความถี่ ร้อยละค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่าที (T-Test) ก่อนทดลองกลุ่มทดลองมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยความรู้เรื่องเพศศึกษา และการสื่อสารเรื่องเพศกับบุตรชายไม่ต่างจากกลุ่มเปรียบเทียบ หลังทดลองกลุ่มทดลองมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยความรู้เรื่องเพศศึกษาและการสื่อสารเรื่องเพศกับบุตรชายสูงกว่ากลุ่มเปรียบเทียบอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p < 0.01) และมีคะแนนที่เปลี่ยนแปลงเฉลี่ยความรู้เรื่องเพศศึกษา และการสื่อสารเรื่องเพศกับบุตรชาย สูงกว่ากลุ่มเปรียบเทียบอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p < 0.05) ผลการวิจัยเสนอแนะว่า บุคลากรสาธารณสุขควรนำโปรแกรมไปใช้ในชุมชน โดยเน้นให้ความรู้เรื่องเพศศึกษาฝึกทักษะการสื่อสารเชิงบวก และทักษะการสอนเพศศึกษา เพื่อให้บิดาสร้างความสามารถในตนเองในการสื่อสารเรื่องเพศกับบุตรชายได้ดีขึ้น This quasi-experimental research aimed at studying effects of a paternal sex educa- tion program on sexual communication with 10-12 year old sons in the Bangkok vicinity. The sample comprised 40 fathers with sons aged 10-12 years. The experimental group was 15 persons residing in Samut Prakan Province. Among the experimental group, a participatory learning program with group process, role playing, brainstorming, discussion and conclusion was sequenced through 4 sessions. The comparison group was 25 fathers residing in Nonthaburi and Samut Sakhon Provinces. A self-administered questionnaire was used prior to both 1-week pre-test and post-test results. The experi- mental study was conducted from February- April 2013. The statistical measures and analysis included frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test. Before implementation, mean average scores of sex education knowledge and sexual communica- tion was not different between the two groups. After implementation, the mean average scores of sex education knowledge and sexual communication of the experimental group was higher than the comparison group (p <0.01), and the difference of mean scores of sex education and sexual communication of the experimental group was also higher than in the comparison group (p < 0.05). Findings suggest that health personnel should apply the program in the community, emphasizing sex education knowledge, positive commu- nication skills, and teaching sex education skills for capacity building of fathers to better communicate information on sexual issues with their sons.
