ผลของโปรแกรมการเรียนรู้ผ่านสื่อตัวแบบต่อพฤติกรรมการดูแลตนเองในเด็กวัยเรียนโรคหอบหืด

Abstract

งานวิจัยกึ่งทดลองนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาผลของโปรแกรมการเรียนรู้ผ่านสื่อตัวแบบต่อพฤติกรรม การดูแลตนเองในเด็กวัยเรียนโรคหอบหืด กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นเด็กวัยเรียนโรคหอบหืด อายุ 8-12 ปี ที่มารับการตรวจรักษาที่คลินิกเด็กภูมิแพ้ โรงพยาบาลสมเด็จพระปิ่นเกล้า กรมแพทย์ทหารเรือ จำนวน 60 คน แบ่งเป็นกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มเปรียบเทียบกลุ่มละ 30 คน กลุ่มทดลองได้รับกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้ผ่านดีวีดีการ์ตูนที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้น กลุ่มเปรียบเทียบได้รับคำแนะนำตามปกติที่เจ้าหน้าที่ห้องตรวจโรคกุมารเวชกรรมจัดให้ ระยะเวลาทดลองตั้งแต่เดือนกุมภาพันธ์-เมษายน พ.ศ. 2558 เก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสัมภาษณ์พฤติกรรมการดูแลตนเอง วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้การแจกแจงความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และ การทดสอบค่าที ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ก่อนการทดลองคะแนนพฤติกรรมการดูแลตนเองของกลุ่มทดลองและกลุ่มเปรียบเทียบไม่แตกต่างกัน (p > 0.05) หลังการทดลอง คะแนนพฤติกรรมการดูแลตนเองของกลุ่มทดลองสูงกว่าก่อนการทดลองและสูงกว่ากลุ่มเปรียบเทียบอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p < 0.05) ดังนั้น บุคลากรด้านสาธารณสุขสามารถนำโปรแกรมการเรียนรู้ผ่านสื่อตัวแบบที่ผู้วิจัยสร้างขึ้นไปประยุกต์ใช้เพื่อพัฒนารูปแบบการให้คำแนะนำแก่เด็กวัยเรียนโรคหอบหืด ซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์ในการส่งเสริมให้เด็กมีสุขภาพที่ดีต่อไป This quasi-experimental research aimed to study the effects of Media Model Learning Program on self-care behaviors of school age children with bronchial asthma. The subjects comprised 60 asthmatic children aged 8-12 years who attended the allergy clinic at Somdech Phra Pinklao Hospital, Naval Medical Department. The subjects were divided in experimental and comparison groups, 30 cases each. The experimental group attended the learning program through cartoon DVDs created by the researcher. The comparison group received routine activities provided by the Pediatric Outpatient Depart- ment. The experimental period was from February to April 2015. Data were collected by self-care behavioral interviewing questionnaires. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test. The results showed that the pre-experimental self-care behaviors of the comparison and the experimental group did not signifi cantly differ (p > 0.05). After the experiment, the self-care behaviors of the experimental group were higher than before and higher than the comparison group with signifi cance (p < 0.05). Therefore, health professionals can apply DVD medium to develop the model to advise the asthmatic children. This could be helpful in enhancing the health of children with asthma.
