Rare cases of septic arthritis caused by these organisms have been reported in immunocompromised hosts; however, their pathogenic activity in hosts with competent immune status remains unclear. Here, we report a case of septic arthritis caused by Ureaplasma parvum in an adult immunocompetent male patient diagnosed by 16S rRNA gene sequencing. | en_US |
