Title
Brugia pahangi in small laboratory animals: Attempts to increase susceptibility of white rats to Brugia pahangi by host selection
Studies using white rats in a selection programme, in which rats susceptible to infection with B. pahangi were selectively bred, was carried out to the F 5 generation. The microfilaria rate increased by the F 4 generation. The resistance to infection of older male rats seemed to be reduced.
