dc.description.abstractStudies using white rats in a selection programme, in which rats susceptible to infection with B. pahangi were selectively bred, was carried out to the F 5 generation. The microfilaria rate increased by the F 4 generation. The resistance to infection of older male rats seemed to be reduced.en_US
