Abstract
The hypothalamus-hypophysis-adrenal cortex system is modeled by a system of five nonlinear autonomous differential equations with exponential feedback terms. It is shown that the model exhibits bifurcation and chaos patterns for certain range of parametric values which helps us to explain clinical observations and characterize different dynamic behaviors of the self-regulative system.
