Abstract
The objectives of this graduate French horn recital were to learn how to organize a French horn recital and to develop professional level performance ability. The processes were selecting the repertoire studying practicing and performing to an audience. The pieces chosen for this study were selected from different composers of the Romantic period since the performer wanted to demonstrate different stylistic and technical skills from each as a source of data for future reference. The graduate French horn recital was given at the Music Auditorium College of Music Mahidol University on Monday March 31st 2008 at 2:30pm. The program consisted of 3 pieces. 1. Concerto No.1 by Richard Strauss 2. Romance op.35 No.6 by Reinhold Gliere 3. Trio for horn violin and piano Op. 40 in E-flat Major by Johannes Brahms The concert lasted approximately 60 minutes without an intermission.
