Abstract
Thailand's economy depends on the Thai stock market. The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) acts as a trading center for listed securities and develops various systems necessary to facilitate the trading of securities. The Thai stock market has grown significantly because many new investors are starting to invest in the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). In spite of everything that has already been learned about (SET) from experience and knowledge, the variance of the stock market has many factors, such as the number of people investing, foreign exchange rates, economic situation, capital flow, and other variables too, that make the stock market a high-risk factor for investment. If these various factors could be understood it would lower the risk factor which would enable investment opportunities in Thailand. The purpose of this research was to make predictions in the stock closing price of the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET). We used the Multi-Layer Perceptron model (MLP), Sequential Minimal Optimization model (SMO), and Partial Least Square model (PLS) to predict the stock closing price. The Experimental Results show that Partial Least Square is the best algorithm of the three algorithms to predict the stock closing price. From statistical data, it was found that the movement of the stock prices in the stock market is cyclical. The result suggests that if we can catch the timing signal of the stock price at the right time, we can invest at the right time.
เศรษฐกิจของประเทศไทยนั้นขึ้นอยู่กับตลาดหุ้นของประเทศไทย ตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทยเป็นศูนย์กลางการซื้อขายหลักทรัพย์จดทะเบียนและพัฒนาระบบต่าง ๆ ที่จำเป็นในการซื้อขายหลักทรัพย์ ตลาดหุ้นไทยมีการเติบโตอย่างมีนัยสำคัญเนื่องจากนักลงทุนรายใหม่จำนวนมากเริ่มลงทุนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย ทั้งๆ ที่มีทุกอย่างที่ได้เรียนรู้จากประสบการณ์และความรู้แล้วความแปรปรวนของตลาดหุ้นก็มีหลายปัจจัยเช่นจำนวนคนที่ลงทุนอัตราแลกเปลี่ยนเงินตราต่างประเทศสภาพเศรษฐกิจกระแสเงินทุนและตัวแปรอื่น ๆ ที่ทำ ให้ตลาดหุ้นเป็นปัจจัยเสี่ยงสูงสำหรับการลงทุน หากเข้าใจปัจจัยต่าง ๆ เหล่านี้จะช่วยลดความเสี่ยงที่จะทำ ให้โอกาสการลงทุน ในประเทศไทยลดลง การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อทำนายราคาปิดของหลักทรัพย์ในตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศ (SET) โดยใช้ Multi-Layer Perceptron model, Sequential Minimal Optimization model (SMO) และ Partial Least Square Classifier (PLS) ในการพยากรณ์ราคาปิดของหุ้นจากผลการทดลอง แสดงให้เห็นว่า Partial Least Square ให้ผลลัพธ์ที่ดีที่สุดในการทำนายราคาปิดของหุ้น จากข้อมูลทำงสถิติพบว่าการเคลื่อนไหวของราคาหุ้นในตลาดหุ้นเป็นวัฏจักร ผลแสดงให้เห็นว่าถ้าเราสามารถจับสัญญาณเวลาของราคาหุ้นในเวลาที่เหมาะสมเราสามารถลงทุนในเวลาที่เหมาะสม
