Abstract
Currently, there are many agencies that take responsibility for domestic geography maps, but the main organization is Royal Thai Survey Department. The Royal Thai Survey Department has been responsible for both topographical and aerial exploration to create variety of scales of geography map. These are used to benefit for the government administration in diversity. The purpose of this research was to develop a specific map for military topographic analysis. Design and information development was suitable for analysis of military topography in the map scaled 1:50,000, reference on the TTADB (Tactical terrain analysis database). This scale map was used to analyze topographic data of internal and external route determined by the military topography. The geographic information obtained from this research will provide users with convenience, speed, and modernity to consider the terrain in battle planning efficiently and will be beneficial for the target group, experts with military topography of the Royal Thai Survey Department.
ปัจจุบันการทำแผนที่ใช้ภายในประเทศมีหน่วยงานที่รับผิดชอบหลายหน่วยโดยองค์กรที่รับผิดชอบทำแผนที่หลักคือ กรมแผนที่ทหาร โดยกรมแผนที่ทหาร มีหน้าที่สำรวจทั้งภาคพื้นดินและทางอากาศ เพื่อจัดทำข้อมูลแผนที่ หลากหลายมาตราส่วนเพื่อนำมาใช้ประโยชน์ในการบริหารประเทศหลากหลายด้าน การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อพัฒนาการทำแผนที่เฉพาะเรื่องเพื่อใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ภูมิประเทศทางทหารโดยจัดทำการออกแบบและพัฒนาข้อมูลภูมิสารเทศที่ได้รับการออกแบบมาเพื่อความเหมาะสมในการวิเคราะห์ภูมิประเทศทางทหารในแผนที่มาตราส่วน 1:50,000 ซึ่งอ้างอิงมาตรฐานการจัดทำข้อมูลจาก TTADB (Tactical Terrain Analysis Database) เพื่อใช้ข้อมูลในการวิเคราะห์ภูมิประเทศเพื่อวิเคราะห์การเคลื่อนที่นอกเส้นทางและในเส้นทางตามหลักการพิจารณาภูมิประเทศทางทหาร โดยข้อมูลภูมิสารสนเทศที่ได้รับจะทำให้ผู้ใช้มีความสะดวก รวดเร็ว และทันสมัย สามารถพิจารณาภูมิประเทศในการวางแผนการรบอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพกลุ่มเป้าหมายในการทดลองการใช้งาน คือ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญทางด้านแผนที่ภายในกรมแผนที่ทหาร
