Abstract

Duboisia myoporoides leaves were collected from differing localities in Queensland representing high and low altitudes in semitropical and tropical regions. In almost all collections, scopolamine was the major alkaloid and there was a segregation towards pyridine alkaloids at subtropical latitudes. The presence of a distinct pyridine variety at Acacia Plateau was confirmed. © 1991.
