Abstract
Faculty of physical Therapy and Applied Movement Science, Mahidol University has established a new department of occupational therapy for stroke patients; however, some therapists could not provide therapeutic activities for each client within adequate period of time. A number of clients then remained in a long waiting list. Program evaluation was performed in order to address clinical management for those therapists. Effectiveness of health systematization in this department was also measured using neurophysiological reaction timer, before and after use of the system over 6 week. Three components of knowledge management had been occurred: 1) use of international and occupational therapy frame of reference; 2) participation of ten volunteers with stroke who had strong motivation of ability enhancement; and 3) objective and comparative assessments in a field of applied neurophysiology. The results demonstrated significant improvement of reaction times after use of the system over 6 week. These results reflect a strategic administration for clinical staffs as well as a process of routine to research of occupational therapy service for stroke patients contributed in a wider population, local community, and national areas.
