ผู้หญิงที่ได้รับความรุนแรงบนฐานเพศต้องจำทนอยู่ในความเงียบเสมอ เพราะการตีตราจากวัฒนธรรมการข่มขืน (Rape culture) ปรากฏการณ์ #MeToo เมื่อ พ.ศ. 2560 ในสหรัฐอเมริกา ปลุกเหยื่อที่ถูกคุกคามทางเพศออกมาเรียกร้องความเป็นธรรมในสื่อสังคม (Social media) ในขณะเดียวกันที่ประเทศไทยเริ่มมีผู้หญิงจำนวนหนึ่งเปิดเผยตนเองและเล่าความรุนแรงที่เคยประสบผ่านสื่อสังคมและต่อมากลายเป็นผู้รณรงค์ยุติความรุนแรงต่อผู้หญิง งานวิจัยนี้สำรวจปัจจัยที่ทำให้ผู้ถูกกระทำเปลี่ยนมาเป็นผู้รณรงค์ โดยใช้มุมมองเพศภาวะ (Gender perspectives) กรอบแนวคิดเรื่องอำนาจทับซ้อน (Intersectionality) และแหล่งอำนาจ (Sources of power) มาวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลที่ได้จากการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกจากกรณีศึกษาผู้หญิง 7 คนที่ใช้สื่อสังคมเป็นพื้นที่รณรงค์ในช่วง พ.ศ. 2559-2562 ประกอบกับข้อมูลจากองค์กรที่เกี่ยวข้อง 5 แห่ง และเนื้อหาโพสต์ในสื่อสังคมของกรณีศึกษา ผลการศึกษาพบว่าวัฒนธรรมการข่มขืนนั้นเกิดขึ้นในชีวิตทั้งก่อนและหลังการรณรงค์ การทำลายความเงียบได้ต้องต่อสู้กับอำนาจทับซ้อนในหลายมิติ ได้แก่ มิติเพศสภาวะ เศรษฐกิจ ความพิการ และอายุ การศึกษานี้พบว่าแหล่งอำนาจสำคัญที่ทำให้กรณีศึกษาเป็นผู้รณรงค์ได้ ได้แก่ อำนาจภายใน อำนาจภายนอกระดับปัจเจกและระดับองค์กร เสริมด้วยปัจจัยอันเกิดจากพลวัตของสังคม การเมือง และสื่อสังคม ในระดับประเทศและโลกหลอมรวมเป็นปัจจัยให้เหยื่อกลายเป็นผู้รณรงค์
